The North Carolina Thought Leadership Association, under the auspices of the Bolch Judicial Institute of Duke Law School, is proud to announce a new series of biannual seminars designed to inform the North Carolina bench and bar about cutting-edge issues affecting the administration of justice.
This first seminar focuses on emerging trends and pressing cybersecurity issues. Presenters will address the scope of cybersecurity threats from legal, business, and national security perspectives and examine the steps major companies are taking to respond to and defend against cyber threats.
The session is designed for judges, lawyers, company executives and information-technology experts wishing to stay abreast of the latest strategies and challenges in cybersecurity. The session will be held at the North Carolina Supreme Court building. Space is limited, and registrations are being honored on a first-come, first-served basis.
The North Carolina Thought-Leadership Association is a partnership of the Bolch Judicial Institute of Duke Law School and North Carolina judges, practitioners, experts, and academic leaders who are initiating and leading dialogue on policy and national legal issues. Future seminars in the “Emerging Issues” series will address cybersecurity and other topics and will be held in Charlotte, Asheville, Greensboro, and other locations.
